Heather Daly

My professional background is in diabetes specialist nursing. Early influences in my career showed me the importance of person-centred care and the skills and approaches that enable people to manage their own health. These principles have remained central to my work and have shaped the roles I have undertaken and the projects I have supported over the years.

I have been involved as a facilitator at Knuston for many years and value the opportunity each year to work closely with participants as they experience a person-centred and empowerment-based approach in practice. I am particularly motivated by knowing that this learning can influence how healthcare professionals interact with and support the people they care for.
