Katie Hards

I am a nurse, doctoral student, and educator passionate about diabetes care. I have seen Diabetes from the time of glass syringes and urine testing to the exciting times of technology, which drives my commitment to help make a difference. I currently work at Oxford University Hospital Trust as a lead Diabetes Nurse responsible for the inpatient and outpatient services there, with all the challenges this brings. Being person-centred in my philosophy of life is a fundamental value to me.

Outside of work, I am a Mum to children and dogs, a wife and a Granny.
